RARE! Avid Media Composer Apple Macintosh USBMacally Keyboard EXCELLENT
Sealed in total darkness in a case of keyboards for approximately 20years. You might have seen I have recently sold three of my RARE Apple(mostly ADB, but also some USB) keyboards, including Avid video editingkeycap keyboards, and those were from a flight case not opened since afew seconds in 2011, packed in there since 2005, so it has been intotal darkness inside an airtight sealed flight case for 20 years. Thisis a major reason that gear from Synhouse is better than anyone else's.But this one is one of a dozen keyboards (mostly USB, but also a fewADB) in a sealed case that came from a system integrator buyout. Thiswas the Los Feliz mansion lot from 14 years ago, 1/2011, clearing outan entire room of gear in a mansion in about three truckloads, mostlyvideo gear and that included a lot of computer hardware, software, andbooks, and most of that had been taken off short leases between 2002and 2008 or so. This is USB, NOT ADB, so it can only work on a Yikes! blue and white G3or newer (mostly G4, maybe G5 or Intel Mac, I don't know, I've seenthese on G4s, mostly), not on any beige G3, or previous 7100-9650, etc.PowerMac or any 68K types, so this one would have have been used on a$100,000 Meridien (don't know why they misspelled that) or Symphony(and NOT the PC type HP XW8000 workstation Symphony, this keyboard isfor Apple Mac) Avid Media Composer system (running on a is a very RARE keyboard that was originally used with an AvidMedia Composer system. This is a Macally iKey Apple Keyboard with the Avid keycap set on itand (as above) will most likely work with any type of late 1990s or2000s Macs with USB.This keyboard is in beautiful condition. It has a built-in USB cable toconnect your Mac to, and two USB ports, one on each end, to connectyour mouse to.This keyboard has been tested by Synhouse using an Apple G4, with my"QWERTY 1234567890" test as you see in the video.This should work with most any late 1990s or 2000s Mac that has USB. Itwill not work by connecting to an ADB port.Cosmetically, it is excellent, just look at the photos. This is actually a little cleaner than shown in the photos, because Iwas in a hurry to photograph it outside in the natural light as Ialways due, but I cleaned the keyboard top casing only after the photoswere done. It's bottom of the keyboard has one of the two flip-out rear liftingstands missing. I've never used one, never seen someone use one, butmany keyboards have lift stands at the back, and one of these ismissing as you can see clearly in the photos.Otherwise, this is absolutely excellent and working as shown in item is as described in the title and as shown in the photos. ALLof my photos are the actual items, will be very, very safely packed for shipment.
