Steps for Cloning

Step1

Insert the target disk and the source disk into the slot respectively. Be sure not to misplace.

Please note:The target drive must be equal to or larger thanthe source drive.

Step 2

Connect the power adapter. Then turn on the device. Do not connect to the computer via data cable.

Step 3

Press and hold the "start" button, and power on the device while holding the start button, keep holding the start button until you see all four lights are on and then off, then 25% of the progress light is flashing. You can release the start button.

Note:All the lights will turn on when clone is completed.

**WARNING***Target disk capacity has to be LARGER than original disk capacity. Please note: All data in the target disk will be overwritten when copying.*Do not connect to the computer while Cloning.*SSD condition: If there is a bad sector in the SSD, copying may stop. Scan the SSD once before copying to make sure there are no bad sectors.*The target disk will enter the offline mode after clone is finished, so the target disk cannot be recognized when you connect the device to your computer. Please manually select online on the disk management/disk utility.*The indicator light shows the clone progress (25% -50% -75% -100%), and all the lights will turn on when clone is completed.

A: The target disk will enter the offline mode after clone is finished, so the target disk cannot be recognized when you connect the device to your computer. Please manually select online on the disk management/disk utility.

A: Yes, you can.

• Q: Will this clone to a larger drive and automatically expand the partition to the size of the new drive?

A: It can clone to a larger drive. But the clone will not change or resize the partition. Cloning will not change anything.
