- An HDMI 1.4 compliant cable (not included) is required to operate at higher than 1080p resolution


- Mac OS X versions earlier than v10.8.5 do not support audio


- Backwards compatible with USB 2.0, but performance is sluggish with resolutions above 1080p


- MacBook 2018 models (based on the Intel Coffee Lake chipset) running Mac OS 10.14.0 can experience black extended display(s) with only mouse cursor. Fixed by upgrading to latest Mac OS 10.14.2 or later. DisplayLink driver v4.3 Beta 6 stays available to force an AirPlay extended display on these machines OS version


- Mac OS limitations: Does not support Movie/video playback via iTunes and HDCP protected content via Safari web browser (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Go, etc.)
