Xebec MFM Hard Drive Controller – Original IBM PC / XT Era
This is an original Xebec MFM hard-disk controller card for early IBM PC and IBM XT systems. Xebec was the OEM manufacturer behind the hard drive controllers used in the first generation of IBM PCs, making this a key piece of early personal-computer history.
These cards were used to control classic ST-412 and ST-506 MFM hard drives, providing the interface that allowed early PCs to boot from and store data on a hard disk. Without a controller like this, an IBM PC or XT could not use a hard drive.
This board is clean, complete, and in excellent cosmetic condition with no visible damage or missing components. It has been in storage and is untested, as I do not have a compatible system, cables, or drive to verify operation. No cables, drives, or accessories are included—only the card shown in the photos.
A great piece for vintage computer collectors, restorers, or anyone building an authentic IBM PC or XT system.
