The Wizcom Readingpen Basic Edition K-12 Pen Scanner is designed specifically to help school-age readers improve their reading skills. It provides instant definitions and translations, allowing readers to maintain their reading flow, even when encountering unfamiliar words. Using the Readingpen improves your reading skills by increasing fluency, vocabulary and comprehension; and its intuitive user-friendly interface makes it easy for anyone to use.
The Readingpen has a portable, discreet design which means that you can use it anywhere - such as the classroom, the library, at a conference, etc, and it is particularly useful for students learning to cope with Dyslexia, or other reading/learning disabilities. It can read any printed material including books, magazines and newspapers, plus it not only defines words with an extensive dictionary, it can even translate with a built-in English-Spanish dictionary.
