- 360 mm radiator— allow about400 mmof length and120 mmof width inside the case.
- 240 mm radiator— allow about280 mmof length and120 mmof width.
- Depth — radiator thickness plus your fan depth (usually 25 mm). Measure before you buy.
- Check for anything sitting behind the mounting rail — cables, the PSU shroud, or a drive cage.
About the tubing
This is ametricsoft tube. Most US builds use 3/8" ID × 5/8" OD, which is a different size.
Fittings grip the tube by itsouterdiameter, so check your fittings match this tube before ordering. If they do not, buy tubing locally and keep this coil as spare.
What you still need
- CPU water block (not included — pick the one that matches your socket)
- 120 mm fans (5 pcs)
- Coolant (distilled water plus biocide, or a ready-mixed PC coolant)
- G1/4 compression fittings — a CPU loop usually needs six. The elbows in this pack are adapters, not fittings.
Listed up front so nothing surprises you on arrival.
Good to know
- A 240 is not "smaller cooling".The number is just how many 120 mm fans it takes — 360 takes three, 240 takes two.
- The elbows change direction, they do not hold the tube.Screw the elbow into the port, then screw your compression fitting into the elbow.
- Use the elbows where a straight run will not fit— pump outlet, radiator inlet, or the bottom of a graphics card block.
- Never mix copper and aluminiumin the same loop without an anti-corrosion coolant. They corrode each other.
- Use distilled water plus biocide, or a ready-mixed coolant. Tap water will eventually clog the loop.
- G1/4 is universal.Fittings from any brand will thread into these ports.
Install, in short
- Flush both radiators with distilled water before fitting — loose manufacturing residue is normal.
- Mount the radiators, then fit your fans. Screws go through the fan into the radiator.
- Thread the elbows in by hand with their O-rings, then add the compression fittings.
- Fill the loop and run the pump for 12 to 24 hours with the motherboardunpowered. Check for leaks.
- Only power the system once it has held without a single drop.
Questions
Do the elbows connect straight to the tube?
No. They are G1/4 adapters that turn a port 90 degrees. The tubing still needs a compression fitting on the end of it. Think of the elbow as a corner, and the fitting as the grip.
Are four elbows enough?
Usually yes for a CPU only loop, and often tight once a graphics card is added. Most builds use two to four. Order more if your case has awkward runs.
Does this include a CPU block?
No. Two radiators, the pump and reservoir, the tubing and the elbows. The block is the one part that has to match your socket, so we leave it to you.
Copper or aluminium — which should I pick?
Copper transfers heat faster and lasts longer. Never mix copper and aluminium in one loop without an anti-corrosion coolant.
How many fans do I need?
Five 120 mm fans in total — three for the 360 and two for the 240.
How is the pump powered?
12 V DC from your power supply, through a Molex or SATA lead. It does not plug into the motherboard.
