This listing is for one WIC Reset Connect reset key for a supported Epson or Canon printer. The key is used with WIC Reset Connect to reset the printer's waste ink / absorber counter when the printer reports a service-related counter error.

Important: WIC Reset Connect uses its own reset keys. A WIC Reset Connect key is not a WIC Reset Utility key. These are different programs. 1. Install the correct printer driver.
2. Connect the printer directly to the computer with a USB cable.
3. Remove or cancel pending print jobs.
4. Close printer status-monitoring software if it interferes with communication.
5. Open WIC Reset Connect and make sure the printer is detected.
6. Run the reset only on a supported model.
7. After a successful reset, switch the printer off, wait about 10 seconds, then switch it on again.

Canon users - service mode

For supported Canon models, the printer may need to enter Service Mode before the counter can be reset.

Check Service Mode before purchasing. If the printer cannot enter the required service mode, the counter reset may not be possible. General Canon Service Mode procedure

1. Turn off your Canon printer.
2. Press and hold STOP / RESET.
3. Press and hold POWER.
4. Release STOP / RESET while continuing to hold POWER.
5. While holding POWER, press and release STOP / RESET the required number of times for your model.
6. After the final press, wait a moment, then release POWER and wait for the printer to enter Service Mode.

Some Canon models use HOME, CANCEL or the + button instead of STOP / RESET. Use the button required by your printer model.
