Vintage Morrow Mult/IO revision 4 interface board for S-100 computer systems. Marked Copyright 1981 George Morrow.
A versatile board designed to combine several system functions:
Three programmable serial channels for terminals, printers, modems, or communication with other computers.
Three parallel ports, comprising one input and two outputs, configured for a Diablo compatible daisy wheel printer or other parallel peripherals.
A real time clock/calendar with provision for battery backup and timed interrupts.
An eight level programmable priority interrupt controller.
Two memory sockets supporting up to 4KB of EPROM or static RAM, or a combination of both.
A power on jump option for executing startup code from onboard EPROM.
With suitable software and cabling, one board could support three terminals and a parallel printer, making it an interesting addition to a Morrow or other compatible S-100 restoration project.
Jumper wiring is present, as pictured; its purpose has not been identified. Memory sockets are unpopulated.
Untested. Includes the exact board shown, without cables or additional accessories. Please review both photos for configuration and cosmetic condition.
