Vintage IBM 5162 XT 286 Computer - 640KB featuring XTMax for MicroSD HDD
This rare computer has the Intel 80286 microprocessor running at 6 MHz, the full 640KB, the original 1.2MB floppy drive, and a monochrome display card. It also includes a MicroCore Labs XTMax card which provides MicroSD hard disk access that is faster, more durable, easier to use, and much larger capacity than the original spinning hard disk. I will include the GSETUP utility was used to configure the CMOS settings.
The 1.2MB floppy drive does not work, however. Im not sure if the issue is because of the floppy drive, the cable, the disk controller, or the motherboard, so please be aware of this if you purchase this machine. The computer is priced accordingly.Aside from the floppy disk not working this rare machine looks and works great!IBM 5162's come up infrequently on . If you are looking to own one, here is your chance!
The entire system will be aggressively and professionally packed in separate boxes so that it arrives safely, ready for you to plug in and enjoy.
** Monitor and keyboard are not included.
