Here is another very nice "vintage" laptop (2003 or 2004)! I acquired it 7 to 10 yrs ago, as I needed laptops with parallel ports for various projects. The 14.1" screen's hinges are a bit "loose", with a tangential movement (slop) of about 3/4" at top edge of screen (when opened at 90 deg). The laptop has an 80 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM, and sports a 1.6 GHz Pentium M processor. It is physically and visually in very good condition, with only a tiny "point dent" on lid, and one other "line dent" even less pronounced nearby. The screen itself looks very good, with no apparent loss of functionality or pixels. It has Windows XP Professional installed, with a COA sticker. It has a CD drive, which works fine (speakers don't sound great though!). The keyboard looks and works great. Everything works as far as I can tell. The laptop has Intel Wireless built in and can connect to wireless networks if desired. Should be great for retro gaming, or writing, or programmingor any geeky engineering things (e.g. stepper motor control) made easier by the presence of a parallel port! The battery works and charges to 100%, but no guarantees as to how long it actually lasts. The laptop will ship with a new genuine "small form" Dell charger (PA-12), which also works great. I added all necessary and proper drivers, and there's a folder with subfolders of the various drivers I used, right in the C directory.
