Testing Performed:

Laptop powers on successfully and completes POST. BIOS recognizes the processor, installed memory, and CD-ROM drive.

The system was successfully booted using a Windows 98 Second Edition installation CD. The Windows 98 startup environment loaded and initialized its DOS storage drivers, confirming that the optical drive can read and boot compatible media.

Windows installation could not proceed because no hard drive is currently installed.

The display works, including its backlight. The keyboard was functional during BIOS navigation.

Important Information:

The original hard drive caddy and associated connector adapter are missing.

A loose, untested hard drive will be included with the laptop, but it is not installed and cannot be connected without the appropriate mounting hardware and adapter.

The Windows 98 Second Edition installation CD used for testing is NOT included in this sale.

No operating system or installation media is included.

The laptop is being sold as a vintage restoration project. Although the functions described above have been tested, other components and features have not been fully evaluated.

Please review all photographs carefully for cosmetic condition and included accessories.
