Powers on with a green LED indicator when tested with a bench power supply, but shows no display on the internal LCD and produces no external signal via the VGA port. The internal screen suffers from vintage polarizer breakdown ("vinegar syndrome"). Includes both original Brother BA-4000 battery packs with clean, corrosion-free compartment contacts. No AC power adapter included.

Up for sale is a vintage late-1990s Brother GeoBook NB-60 Personal Digital Notebook running the classic GEOS 3.0 platform. An exceptional salvage or restoration unit for vintage computing collectors, featuring fully intact plastics, original badges, clean battery terminals, and both original battery cartridges.

- Power Test: Tested using a generic bench adapter. The power rail energizes and the green power LED illuminates.
- Video Output: The internal LCD screen does not show text or graphics. When connected to an external monitor via the rear VGA port, no video signal was detected.
- Display Panel: The LCD glass has age-related polarizer degradation ("vinegar syndrome"), showing wrinkling and crystallization under the glass surface.
- Battery Bay & Terminals: The interior battery compartment is remarkably clean with shiny, corrosion-free contacts (very Minimal if any battery acid leak damage see photos).
- Original Batteries: Includes both OEM Brother BA-4000 6V 1400mAh battery packs. Due to age, they are untested, not guaranteed to hold a charge, and sold as-is for recelling or rebuild projects.
- Cosmetics: Clean casing with bright factory badges, intact hinges, and crisp keyboard keys.
