Software Description:
The Complete Answering Machine (CAM) from The Complete PC Inc is a board and software combination that converts a PC into a telephone answering, messaging, and electronic mail system. CAM requires one Mbyte for its programming and 3 to 6 Mbytes for digitized voice messages. CAM features include: time stamps on messages; remote operation; remote message retrieval; message editing; message forwarding; and message specification by telephone extension number. CAM can also be set to call numbers and leave messages at specified times. The CAM board contains a 6502 microprocessor that performs most of the functions and allows the system to be run in background on the PC. CAM is recommended for use by small businesses where telephone answering can be vital, such as real estate firms. CAM's drawbacks include: the need to leave the PC on all the time and difficulty changing the answering message.This set of floppy disks have not been tested. They are being sold AS IS - Not Tested.
