The AM-V5G-Ti is designed for outdoor Point-to-MultiPoint wireless networking and can be especially useful in rural properties, farms, ranches, large lots, and other locations where conventional wired networking may be difficult or expensive to install.

When paired with a compatible Ubiquiti Rocket radio, this sector antenna can provide a central wireless coverage area from which multiple remote locations can connect. For example, a property with a good internet connection could use a setup like this to establish wireless links to a nearby home, barn, shop, outbuilding, guest house, or other remote location.

With suitable line-of-sight, compatible equipment, and appropriate network configuration, a rural property owner could potentially use a PtMP network to extend an internet connection to neighbors or other nearby locations. Depending on terrain, antenna height, radio configuration, frequency conditions, and local regulations, Ubiquiti airMAX equipment can also be used for significantly longer-distance wireless links between properties.

This type of equipment can be particularly useful where trenching Ethernet or fiber between buildings or properties isn't practical. A properly designed wireless link can potentially span hundreds of feet, several miles, or even considerably farther under favorable conditions.

Actual range and performance will vary substantially based on antenna height, line-of-sight, terrain, vegetation, interference, radio selection, channel configuration, regulatory limits, and the equipment used at the remote locations. This antenna is a component of a wireless networking system and does not provide Wi-Fi or internet service by itself; a compatible Ubiquiti radio, network equipment, and an appropriate internet connection are required.

For larger rural properties, multiple buildings, farms, ranches, or neighboring properties, the adjustable 60° / 90° / 120° beamwidth can also provide flexibility in determining how broadly the wireless coverage is AM-V5G-Ti Titanium Sector Antenna
