This display was taken from a working Toshiba Satellite A105-S4284, but was giving a dim display. It was replaced by a screen that worked just fine. Therefore, this unit probably has a burned-out CCFL backlight. Otherwise it's in good mechanical condition. It's not too difficult to replace a backlight. Otherwise, the unit can be used for parts.
