The Atari Compendium was released in September 1993 and as such was the first comprehensive guide to programming the Atari ST series computers. The Compendium came at a critical time, when documentation for emerging standards like MiNT, Speedo GDOS, and TOS4 was sorely lacking. As such, the Compendium has been an indespensible resource for Atari programmers everywhere. When the Compendiums finally ran out (after 2 substantial print runs) Scott Sanders and Toad Computers got together to produce the Compendium on CD ROM. This disc contains the entire Atari Compendium book (800+ pages), in an easy-to-browse HTML format.

The book is famously known as the "bible" for Atari ST, STe, TT, and Falcon developers, as it contains exhaustive information regarding the Atari operating system (TOS, GEM, VDI, AES), hardware registers, parameters binding, and BIOS/XBIOS function references.
