It is a Tri-Band 4x4 WiFi 6 router that has 1 WAN port, and 4 LAN ports - 1 of the ports is a versatile 2.5Gbe port that can be converted an additional WAN port for failover or a super high-speed internet, or as a normal 2.5Gbe LAN port. Additionally, it has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port to add a flash or external drive. By doing this, you can convert this router into a mini NAS. One of the great benefits about Synology products, is the versatility of the product line. This is because each device is powered by SRM Operating System (OS). The extra power from the power from the 1.8 Quad core CPU makes navigating around the OS a breeze and snappy. Since this a Synology product, it plays well with other Synology products. When paired up with another RT6600ax, WRX560, MR2200ac, and/or RT2600ac, it can act as the main backbone in a home or small office network or an extension to an existing mesh network. The product is great for all users - ease of use for beginners and custom configurations for power users. It truly is the best in class in Synology’s network line. The router has been used in a smoke-free environment and was a new replacement from a RMA that was requested.
