Own possibly the last Telex 1260 PC Tower, a rare gem for enthusiasts and collectors alike. This super heavy computer comes equipped with the Shugart HDD and floppy drives that are rare themselves. One of the floppy drives is numbered and hand labeled "Proto", possibly a prototype. Being the only existing model I could find, and styled uniquely, this tower offers a tangible and special piece of history. The computer has various bits of minor damage and wear, and does show its age. Both the computer and the metal shell are far heavier than usual, and the shell have some noticeable corrosion spots here and there. When tested, it did not successfully power on, and the lights on the front, as well as the light on the back of the hard drive, would flash. This computer is being sold as-is for repair, or could be put on display as is.
