The HA40101V4-0000-C99 comes from the Sunon Super Silence family of fans which includes 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, and 120mm square DC fan models. This is absolutely one of the quietest 40x40x10mm fans in the world and it is made by Sunon who is well known for their premium quality cooling fans and OEM parts made for top tier electronic and computer brand names all over the world. At 4500 RPM, this fan only makes 18.2 dBA which is barely audible even at close distance. It will still give you a totally respectable 5.3 CFM of air flow while being so quiet. You can place this petite size DC cooling fan in tighter space, tiny enclosures, or even use it to cool down networking equipment like wireless routers. It is also perfect for home entertainment or media computer or audio equipment that needs a little cooling but the subsequent noise won't spoil any audio performance.
