Sun Ultra 2 workstation, good condition, believed fully working.
Equipped with:
* UltraSPARC 200 MHz CPU* 128 MB memory (4x32 MB, 12 slots free of 16)* 4.2 GB SCA SCSI hard drive* SCSI CD-ROM drive* Sun Ethernet/SCSI combo SBUS card* SUN 501-1931 spif serial/parallel port card* SBS BIT 3 Operations unknown SBUS card, possibly SBUS external breakoutHard drive appears to have Solaris 2.6 on it. Boot output stops after initializing network interfaces -- I\'m not sure if it\'s trying to switch to graphical output, or if it\'s having trouble with the lack of wired network, or something else. I haven\'t made much effort to see what data is on the drive, if any.
This machine had a Creator 3D card when I got it, but would not boot with the graphics card installed, so all my interaction with it is over the serial port. I don\'t have any cards to test, so I can\'t be completely certain the UPA slot works. I also don\'t have breakout cables for the spif card, and I have no way of testing the BIT3 card at all, so those are likewise untested. In summary, this machine is mostly untested -- I verified that it runs, can be interacted with on the serial port, passes built-in self-tests, and boots from the hard drive. As with most machines from this era, the timekeeping chip has a dead battery and will need replacement.
