A single charge, using the included USB cable (can be charged via optional AC adapter), powers the Reader for up to 7,500 page turns (BBeB Book). When it's time to recharge or transfer eBooks, the included USB 2.0 cable allows for both. Formats supported by the Reader Touch Edition include the industry standard formats of ePub and PDF. Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Digital Editions are all also compatible. The Reader also supports unsecured MP3 and AAC audio files for playback.

Other features include a built-in Oxford American English Dictionary, adjustable font sizes, and quick page turning for reading at a natural pace.
