It is a 48VDC powered 10/100/1000 to 1000Base SFP PoE+ Media Converter that combines data received over a fiber optic link with up to 25.5 Watts of PoE+ power. Supports both POE and POE+ power requirements.
Equipped with power device signature sensing, power monitoring features, and a 1000Base SFP receptacle, accepting a wide variety of 1000Base SFP modules for its fiber optic interface. A side-mounted slide switch is provided to enable and disable Link Fault Signaling and Far End Fault. The Link Fault Signaling capability allows the media converter to monitor both the fiber and copper RX ports for loss of signal.
