This is a SRAM Battery replacement part. Works for many vintage computers like the Sharp X68000, the NEC PC-8801 and 9801 and even also the Commodore Amiga series. Anyy vintage aomputer that uses old barrel like rechargeable batteries that could leak and kill the motherboard. Original internal rechargeable battery of the computer MUST be changed as soon as possible to avoid battery acid leak, and permanent damage to the board. Also, SRAM settings may not be saved anymore when turning off the machine. These signs mean you must change the original internal battery! Kit includes a battery holder, circuit to avoid recharge (and potential explode) of the new non-rechargeable 3V coin battery, and two cables to install on + and - sides on the motherboard. COIN BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED SINCE THESE WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH POSTAL SERVICES. A little soldering/welding is needed to install it. Removal of old battery is needed prior to install. Pictures for installation are not provided, but these can be easily found searching your machine model.
