Finally got around to gathering some more information which should answer any questions you have. Looks to me like it’s the most desired from this family of pocket computers and you don’t need to worry about shipping from Japan.
Vintage Sharp PC-1500A Pocket Computer with Sharp CE-160 Program Module + Two Vintage Sharp Manuals
This listing includes an original Sharp PC-1500A programmable pocket computer with a genuine Sharp CE-160 battery-backed program module installed in the rear expansion compartment.

TESTING / CONDITION
The PC-1500A was tested with batteries on August 18, 2026.
The computer powers on and off properly. RUN mode was tested and basic arithmetic/calculator functions operated correctly, including 2 + 2 = 4. Keyboard input and multiple functions were tested during operation and responded properly.
The computer also recognizes and responds to programming-related commands. During further attempts to test/program memory, the computer returned ERROR 26. I am not sufficiently familiar with Sharp BASIC or this vintage system to determine whether this resulted from the command sequence, memory configuration, CE-160 module, module battery, or another condition. Therefore, the CE-160 and advanced programming/memory functions are not being represented as fully tested.
DISPLAY DISCLOSURE: The LCD is functional and characters are readable, but one small horizontal line/segment of the LCD appears not to display consistently. Please see the photographs showing the screen. This has not prevented the computer from displaying calculations or other information during testing.
SHARP CE-160
The installed rear module is a genuine Sharp CE-160 Program Module with Battery. This is a removable battery-backed program/memory module for the Sharp pocket-computer system. The module is physically present and recognized as part of the computer configuration, but its battery condition, full memory capacity and ability to reliably save/retain programs have not been independently verified.
MANUALS
The Sharp PC-1500A Applications Manual directly relates to this computer and contains programming/application information for the PC-1500A.
Also included is an original Sharp PC-1360 Operation Manual. The PC-1360 is a different Sharp pocket-computer model; this manual is included as an additional vintage Sharp collectible/reference and is not represented as the operating manual for the PC-1500A.
The computer and manuals show cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including scratches, scuffs, edge wear, discoloration and manual/page wear. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
This is a vintage electronic device approximately four decades old. Testing described above represents exactly what I personally verified on August 18, 2026. No additional functionality beyond the testing described is guaranteed.
