Important compatibility note

Requires a real Thunderbolt 3 port. It is not compatible with ordinary USB-C ports; although the connector shape is the same, USB-C alone is not Thunderbolt 3. A compatible Thunderbolt 3 computer, suitable driver, Cat6a-or-better cabling, and 10GbE-capable network equipment are needed for 10Gbps operation.
