Surface mount box for mounting on a solid surface such as a wall, desktop, or office furniture. Comes with double-sided adhesive tape to mount the box to the wall, or you can use the two screws to screw it down to the baseboard, window sill, trim, etc. Wire connections are easy. Box has a slit in the backside to allow the wire to enter the box for flush mounting.

Those mounting boxes come with single RJ11 or RJ12 phone jacks. The RJ11 jack has 4 conductors, RJ12 jack has 6 conductors. Made from a durable ABS shell that snaps together for a snug and secure installation. There's plenty of room to work. You'll need a wire stripper and a phillips screwdriver.
