Here is a scarcity: a slot 1 (Celeron/Pentium II/early Pentium III) motherboard which uses the older Baby AT form factor. What is more remarkable is that this is a low-end PC Chips motherboard which is still working 26 years after it was manufactured. The PC Chips M729 was also sold under the names Aristo AM-729, Eurone EM-7229S, Minstaple PM-729, PC Ware PM-729, and Protac MB-7290. It features an ALI Aladdin Pro-2 chipset relabeled as a PC100 BXcelIt includes two ISA slots, three PCI slots, and one 3.3V AGP slot. There are three 168-pin DIMM sockets for SDRAM, DIMMs up to a maximum of 384MB. I include 192MB with one empty socket. I also include a 266 MHz Intel Pentium II CPU with heatsink and fan.The only port on the back of the motherboard is a DIN5 AT keyboard connector. However, PC Chips includes pin headers for two IDE cables, a floppy cable, a parallel port, two serial ports, PS/2 mouse port and two USB 1.1 ports, and a CMI8330 sound chip (relabeled SoundPro HT1869V+). I include the cables and connectors for the parallel port, the two serial ports, and the sound chip (line out, microphone, line in and MIDI/joystick port). I do NOT have what PC Chips called the ATX form card for the PS/2 mouse and USB ports.
You can find documentation and some drivers at this have seen this motherboard boot consistently from floppy diskettes and from an IDE hard drive, with an AGP or PCI video cards.
