ODROID-HC4 NAS with space for 2 x 3.5" or 2.5" HDDsNo "Toaster" Look!This is a custom built NAS. The system uses an ODROID-HC4 inside a very small mini-ITX case. It has space to mount two (2) full size 3.5" HDDs. 2.5" HDDs/SSDs can be used with 3.5" to 2.5" adapters (not included). It provides a good, functioning, native SATA NAS in a small package without the "toaster" look of the stock ODROID-HC4 and without an external "power brick," making it an attractive, compact system. The size is only 9" x 7.7" x 2.5". It includes an internal USB hub, RTC clock and battery, and internal Mean Well PSU (so just use AC power cord, no "brick"). Cooling is by 2x 40mm Noctua fans and PWM is configured. OpenMediaVault 6 is pre-installed on the SD Card, but user can put any compatible OS desired. It comes packaged in the original box for the mini-ITX case with the wall mount brackets, SATA cables, HHD mounting screws, and power cord. The system and all parts are brand new, only run for purposes of installing OS and ensuring everything works as intended. - A new OS can be installed or tried with a microSD card like normal ODROID-HC4 (accessible in rear), though user is responsible for dealing with any configuration or issues with new OS (e.g., PWM, RTC, Petiboot).
Credentials for installed OS (Strongly recommended that buyer change passwords on receipt):
- root password is armbian default of 1234. Change via CLI (ssh or console) with: passwd root
- OMV webgui password is default of admin:openmediavault. Change in OMV webgui.
