ITEM - Netgear Orbi RBS50v2 AC3000 WiFi Satellite/Extender.


CONDITION - This is a used unit. May have very small scratches on the surface. For the most part in very good cosmetic condition. Please look at pictures for reference on the cosmetic condition of the device.


COMES WITH - This is only for the satellite. Includes all original accessories. Power adapter (12v 2.5A) and set up instructions. Will not include original box. Will be carefully repackaged into another box.


COMPATIBILITY - This satellite is only compatible with an Orbi Router. The Orbi Routers compatible with this model are the Orbi RBR50, RBR50v2, RBR40, RBR20 and the CBR40 Cable Router/Modem.


SATELLITE SETUP - There are 2 ways to set up the satellite. I recommend first placing the satellite about 3-5 feet away from your router to sync it for the first time. You will need to have an Orbi Account created. When you installed your Orbi Router, you should have set up an account already.


With the Orbi App: Download the Orbi App on your device and log in to your account. Look for a drop down menu and select "Add Satellite". The App will prompt you to turn on your satellite first and make you wait about 2 minutes. This is usually how long it takes for the device to fully power on. After 2 minutes, it will tell you to press the 'Sync" button on the satellite. This part is very important! Press the sync button first, wait 5 seconds and then select next or continue on the App in this order. The App will show that it is searching for the satellite. PLEASE keep your eyes on the satellite, if you see the light turn solid dark blue, this means the satellite has synced or if you get a confirmation on the App that the satellite was found. EVEN if the App says No Satellite Found, if you see the light turn blue on the satellite, this means it was synced! This is just a bug on the App. Please exit the App and log back in. GO to your added devices and you will see the satellite there. It may say poor connection at first, but this is temporary. It will change to Good later.


With the Orbi Dashboard: Access the Orbi Dashboard from a tablet or computer. Go to orbilogin.net and login to your account. On the left side under BASIC, click on "Add Orbi Satellite". It'll prompt you to turn your satellite on and wait about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, manually press the 'Sync" button on Orbi Satellite and AFTER you do that, press next or sync on the dashboard. You will either get a confirmation on your screen that the satellite has been found and added OR the light on the Orbi Satellite will turn solid blue. Even if the App or Dashboard says that the satellite was not found but you notice the light has turned blue, it means the satellite was synced. Exit out of the Dashboard and log back in. You will see that the satellite has been added to your home network. 


After you have synced your satellite, you can move it to your desired location. It will automatically sync back to your router after it powers on.


PLACEMENT - This is very important! Placement of the Orbi router or satellite is key to having good signal. This is true for all routers. Other electronics can block the WiFi signal from a router. Things like TVs or Refrigerators can cause signal to be slow or cut out randomly. I highly recommend you purchase a wall mount or small wall shelve where you can place your Router or satellite. High up on a wall is the best location away from other electronics. I see people place their routers next to a printer or behind TVs or on top of refrigerators and wonder why their signal keeps cutting out. They think the Orbi is defective but this is very unlikely. I test all my Orbis very thoroughly. 


SHIPPING/HANDLING - I have a 1-day handling time for orders. Sometimes I will ship the same day if order is placed before 2PM Pacific Time. I very rarely ship on Saturdays. I offer 2 shipping options now. $10 for UPS Ground Service (2-7 days) and $14 for USPS Priority Service (1-4 days). You can choose which service you would like during checkout.


OFFICE HOURS/CUSTOMER SERVICE - I'm usually in the office 9AM to 5PM for handling orders and answering questions. I tend to reply same day to questions. I use the App on my phone so I may reply outside of those hours (rarely on weekends). Just shoot me a message and I'll do my best to reply as soon as possible. If you need to cancel an order, please go to your order details and send me a cancelation request and I'll approve it or send me a message and I'll cancel it for you. I have no issues with cancellations, I understand it happens. 


WARRANTY -  I am NOT an authorized Netgear reseller or distributor. Because of this, NONE of the devices I have in my store have manufacturer warranty. Which means if you contact Orbi/Netgear customer service, they will most likely not want to help you. In order for a device to have Manufacturer Warranty, it must be purchased "New" or "Certified Refurbished" from an authorized retailer. Don't let this dissuade you from purchasing. My refurbishment process is the same as a certified retailer. Because of this, I rarely have returns. If you are purchasing a used device from me or anyone else, the serial number will most likely already be registered to a previous user and it is nearly impossible to unregister it from that user because only they can do it. This does not affect functionality of the device. You will still be able to set it up and use the Netgear/Orbi App to operate it without any issues. I offer 30-warranty from the day you receive your device and up to 6 months of technical support.

Returns/Refunds Policy:


- I accept returns on most listings for any reason for 30 days. For electronics, if the device is defective or not as described, the buyer will receive a full refund. 


- For reasons when customer changes his mind or bought by mistake, a refund will be given for the original price minus the original shipping cost. No restocking fee on any used items. 


- NO RETURNS on items listed for "parts or not working". These devices are defective and being sold "as is". I will do my best to describe what is wrong with them.


- For any items that are listed as "New", there will be a restocking fee ranging from 20%-50% ONLY IF the item is not returned in its original condition. This means the factory seal is not opened or if it's sent in a protective plastic, it must not have been opened.


- I test ALL electronics upon return. If the device was returned for being defective and it works fine, original shipping will be deducted from refund! PLEASE message me with any troubleshooting questions and I can provide help setting up your device or provide links to tutorials.
