This NETGEAR switch is fully functional and in excellent working condition. There is minimal wear on the chassis from normal rack use, as shown in pictures — it does not affect the functional integrity of the device whatsoever. Only the items pictured are included in this listing unless stated otherwise. This listing includes rack ears and one power cord.

Please Note Before You Buy

No cloud subscription required. Unlike some cloud-managed platforms, this switch can be run entirely in standalone mode through its local web browser interface, with no NETGEAR Insight subscription. Insight cloud management is optional. Note that the two modes are mutually exclusive — you manage the switch either through Insight or through the local web UI, not both at once.

This is the non-PoE model. The GC728X does not supply Power over Ethernet. If you need PoE+ for access points, cameras, or phones, the PoE model is the GC728XP — a different part number.

SFP and SFP+ transceivers are not included. The four fiber uplink ports require compatible optics or DAC cables, sold separately.
