The Macintosh PowerBook Floppy Drive Expansion Bay Module DVT Prototype 825-4156 is a rare vintage accessory designed specifically for Apple products. It is a production-intent Design Verification Test (DVT) and retail expansion module for the hot-swappable 3.5-inch bay on Macintosh PowerBook G3 "Wallstreet" and "PDQ" series laptops. DVT-stamped engineering prototypes of specific module part numbers are scarce collector artifacts compared to standard retail production units carrying the identical 825-4156-A.
