When Apple brought out the 2019 7,1 Mac Pro, they included the 580 as the OEM card, thus guaranteeing drivers as long as 2019 is supported.
They ALSO recommended the Sapphire 580 as a great 2009-2012 (4,1 and 5,1) upgrade.

Some are Pulse models, others are Nitro downclocked to Pulse speeds so that they can run on a single power cable.
