OPEN BOX MAC STUDIO | M3 ULTRA | 256GB | 2TB

One open-box unit is available. It is an exceptionally capable standalone AI workstation, and it can be clustered with a second Mac over Thunderbolt 5 for even larger models.

CONDITION

• Open-box condition. This Mac was powered on once for initial setup and AppleCare activation, then returned to its box.
• No scratches, dents, or visible marks.
• Purchased in April 2026.
• Before shipping, I’ll erase the Mac and remove Activation Lock. It will arrive ready for the buyer to complete the standard macOS setup.

WARRANTY AND APPLECARE

• Apple's one-year limited warranty runs from the original purchase date, to about April 2027.
• This Mac currently has AppleCare+ on our Apple Account. That plan is billed to our account and can't transfer, so it ends at sale.
• Eligible for AppleCare One. Apple lets you add a Mac under 4 years old in good condition to your own AppleCare One plan. Apple may run a quick diagnostic check first.
• Message me for the full serial number, and check coverage yourself on Apple's Check Coverage M3 Ultra: 28-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 32-core Neural Engine
• 256GB unified memory, 819GB/s memory bandwidth
• 2TB SSD
• Front: 2x Thunderbolt 5, SDXC card slot
• Back: 4x Thunderbolt 5, 2x USB-A, HDMI, 10Gb Ethernet, headphone jack
• Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3

WHAT 256GB DOES FOR YOU

If you want to run large AI models locally, memory is often the limiting factor. This Mac has 256GB of unified memory shared by the CPU and GPU, giving you room for models that won’t fit in the dedicated graphics memory of many desktop workstations.

That includes compatible 100B+ parameter models at 8-bit, depending on the model, context length, and software overhead. It’s a capable standalone system for local AI inference, coding assistants, and experimentation, all in a compact & quiet desktop.

CLUSTER-READY

Pair it with another 256GB Mac Studio over Thunderbolt 5 with RDMA for 512GB of combined memory, for models too large for one machine.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 256GB, 2TB)
• Apple power cord
• Original Apple box
• No keyboard, mouse, or display

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

• The photos show this Mac and its identical twin, which has already sold. Several show them beside a handwritten note with my username and the date.
• The last 4 digits of this Mac's serial number are visible in the photos. Message me and I'll send the full serial.
• You pay through only, so the Money Back Guarantee covers you.
• I will never ask you to pay or talk outside . If someone contacts you and claims to be me, it's a scam. Please report it.
• Want more photos? Message me. I'm happy to send them.

SHIPPING: PROTECTED FOR BOTH OF US

• Free 2-day express shipping (UPS 2nd Day Air) from Anchorage, Alaska.
• Covered for the full sale price with the carrier's declared value.
• A signature is required at delivery. Please plan to be available to sign.
• The Mac ships in its original Apple box, inside a padded outer box sealed with tamper-evident tape.
• I film the Mac, its serial number, and the packing, from start to sealed box.
• An AirTag rides in the outer box so I can find the package if the carrier misroutes it. Your iPhone may alert you to an unknown AirTag. That's this one. After delivery, I remove it from my account, and it's yours to keep.
• I ship only to the address on your order. I can't change the address, ship to freight forwarders or reshippers, or ship outside the U.S.
• Tracking goes on the day it ships.

RETURNS

No returns for a change of mind. If the Mac isn't as described, the Money Back Guarantee protects you. Serial numbers are on record, so any return must be the same unit that shipped.

Selling only because our setup changed. Nothing is wrong with this Mac.
