Condition
Very good overall cosmetic condition with minor installation and handling marks. PCB, PCIe slots, DDR5 slots, power connectors, and rear I/O connectors appear intact. No significant visible damage, obvious burned components, or damaged traces were observed. Socket pins were visually inspected; no obvious bent or damaged pins were found. CMOS battery is installed. All M.2 heatsinks/covers and mounting hardware have been reinstalled, and a protective CPU socket cover is installed.
The original Intel CPU retention mechanism was absent following use with an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III replacement contact frame. A compatible replacement LGA1700 retention mechanism has been installed and appears visually appropriate and properly positioned. It has not been functionally tested.
Testing and Verification
Testing completed October 11, 2026, with an Intel Core i7-12700K, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 12GB, Corsair DDR5 memory, and Windows 11. The system successfully POSTed, booted Windows 11, recognized installed hardware, and completed automated system testing.
- Prime95 CPU stress test: 10 minutes, PASS.
- FurMark 2 GPU stress test: 10 minutes, PASS.
- Combined Prime95 and FurMark 2: 5 minutes, PASS.
No errors or crashes were observed during testing. Tests were performed before installation of the replacement retention mechanism; no subsequent functional test is documented. Not all rear I/O ports, onboard connectors, or headers were individually verified.
