Leviton OPT-X SDX 12-Fiber MTP/MPO to LC Duplex Cassette — 31LM1, Multimode OM3

Leviton OPT-X SDX plug-and-play fiber cassette. One 12-fiber MTP/MPO connector on the rear breaks out to six LC duplex ports on the front, so a pre-terminated MTP trunk can be patched to LC equipment without field splicing or field termination. The module snaps into any Leviton OPT-X SDX enclosure or patch panel.

Both modules are multimode OM3 (50/125µm) with aqua LC adapters, and both are Method B polarity. The difference between them is which end of the MTP trunk they belong on: one is the Core module, the other is the Edge module. A matched-pair option (one of each) is also listed for buyers building a new channel. Choose the option you need from the dropdown above.

Which option do I need

• 31LM1-BCN — Method B "Core", front label 400-0023, rear label 001-31LM1-BCN. Used at the core / equipment end of the MTP trunk.
• 31LM1-BEN — Method B "Edge", front label 400-0021, rear label 002-31LM1-BEN. Used at the edge / distribution end of the MTP trunk.
• Pair (1x BCN + 1x BEN) — one Core and one Edge module, sold together for a complete new channel.

A Method B channel normally uses one Core cassette at one end and one Edge cassette at the other end of the same MTP trunk. If you are replacing a single failed module, match the model already installed at that end and order a single BCN or BEN. If you are building a new channel, order the Pair.
