• Fitted a 256GB NVMe SSD with its thermal pads — the pads are the part most often left off, and they matter for sustained speed. It reports 98% health.
• Added 8GB of DDR4 to the open SO-DIMM slot, bringing it to 16GB.
• Wiped. The drive was repartitioned and Windows installed from clean media, so nothing of any previous owner remains.
• Clean Windows 11 Pro. Installed fresh, activated and fully updated, then taken to the desktop to confirm it works. It arrives at the out-of-box setup screen so the first account created on it is yours. No bloatware, no accounts of ours.
• Measured the wear parts rather than estimating them: battery 87% of design at 75 cycles, drive 98% health. Those exact figures are above.

Cosmetic condition

Very Good. Normal wear and tear for a business machine — light handling marks, and nothing that affects how it works — it sits flat, the hinges are firm, the lid closes properly, the screen is clear and the keyboard works correctly. The photos are of the exact machine you will receive, shot close up rather than at a flattering angle.

What to know before you buy

The battery: 87% of design capacity on 75 cycles. That is not an estimate — it is what the battery controller reports. 75 cycles is light use for a machine of this age, and 87% is still most of a working day. Most listings at this price say nothing about the battery at all, which usually means you should assume the worst; here you do not have to.

256GB is the honest limitation. It is a genuine NVMe drive at 98% health rather than the slower SATA some of these shipped with, but 256GB is modest in 2026. The good news is it is a standard M.2 NVMe and swapping it for a larger one is a ten-minute job with one screw.

Memory can still grow. 8GB is on the board and we filled the SO-DIMM slot with another 8GB, so it runs dual-channel today. That slot takes up to a 32GB stick, for 40GB total — unlike the thinner machines of this generation where all the memory is soldered and can never be upgraded.

No charger is included. This model charges over USB-C Power Delivery, so any 65W USB-C charger works — the one for a recent laptop, or a $20 charger from anywhere. We would rather not charge you for a spare you probably already own, but you do need one.

Windows 11 is fully supported on this one. 10th generation Intel is on Microsoft’s supported processor list, so there is no "system requirements not met" notice and no question about future updates. It is activated and fully updated.
