• Increased the memory to 24GB. This model left the factory with 16GB. Ours has 8GB soldered plus a 16GB module in the slot, and the slot will take a 32GB module later if you want 40GB.
• Measured the wear parts rather than estimating them: battery 100% of design capacity at 329 cycles, drive 97% health. Those exact figures are above.

Cosmetic condition

Good. A few small scratches, and very slight flex in the chassis where it meets the display panel — normal on a thin aluminum laptop that has been opened and closed a few thousand times, and not something you would notice unless you went looking for it. The lid closes flush. None of it affects how the machine works. The photos are of the exact machine you will receive, shot close up rather than at a flattering angle.

What to know before you buy

The 4K panel is 60Hz, and the RTX 3050 Ti is an entry-level GPU. This is not a high-refresh gaming laptop. We would rather say that plainly than have you open the box expecting 165Hz. If you are buying for competitive gaming, a 15ACH6 with an RTX 3060 and a 165Hz 1440p screen is the right machine and this is not it.

What this configuration is genuinely good at is everything that wants cores, memory and pixels rather than frame rate: photo and video work, CAD, code, virtual machines, colour-critical work on a 4K screen, and a great many browser tabs. An eight-core Ryzen 9 with 24GB and a 1TB drive is a serious workstation in a chassis you can actually carry. The 3050 Ti will run games well at 1080p, and it accelerates rendering and encoding. It will not drive modern titles at 4K.

24GB, and it goes further. 8GB is soldered and 16GB is in the SO-DIMM slot. Unlike most thin machines at this price, the slot is real and accessible — swap the 16GB for a 32GB module and you are at 40GB.

The battery is at 100% of design capacity on 329 cycles. That is what the battery controller reports, not an estimate. 329 cycles is real use, so the number is the point: the capacity has held. The 1TB drive reports 97% health — the original drive, lightly used, with almost all of its write endurance left.

Windows 11 is fully supported on this one. The Ryzen 5000 series is on Microsoft's supported processor list, so there is no "system requirements not met" notice and no question about future updates. It is activated and fully updated.

In the box

The laptop and its 170W Lenovo Slim Tip charger — the correct adapter for this configuration, not an undersized replacement. No original box, no manuals, no dock. This machine uses Lenovo's rectangular Slim Tip connector, not USB-C — it cannot be charged from a phone brick or a USB-C laptop charger, so keep the adapter with it.
