This card will allow you to control four M.2 PCIe M Key (or B+M Key) SSDs.
For any M.2 "M Key" PCIe (NVMe or AHCI) type SSD only, does not support SATA type M2 SSD.
This controller card uses bandwidth sharing which allows it to work whether or not your motherboard supports bifurcation mode.
Advantage: a 4-port card for 3 to 4 times less expensive than a switch type card.
Disadvantage: it will however be slower than a switch type card (reading and writing observed during our tests: 3.0 x4 type card (compatible with x4, x8, x16 ports).
