Up for sale is a Vintage Iomega Zip 100 External USB Drive KitIn the Highly Collectible Translucent Blue Casing!
CONDITION & TESTING NOTES:This drive has been partially tested. When plugged in and a disk is inserted, the internal motor spins up smoothly, quietly, and normally. There is absolutely NO rhythmic clicking (No "Click of Death"). The green indicator light functions properly, blinking during spin-up and then stopping when the drive is idle.
However, pressing the physical front eject button does not trigger the disk release. The disk can be successfully ejected via computer software commands (Right-Click > Eject) or by using a paperclip in the rear emergency eject pinhole. Because of this mechanical button quirk, the unit is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts, repair, or collector completeness.
