3 internal 16 bit SCSI-2 Single Ended connectors are provided, one of which is shared with an external connector. The external connector and first internal connector both operate on Channel 0 and can not be used concurrently.

• Supports RAID 0, 1, and 5
• Controller conforms to ANSI Doc X3T9.2/86-109 rev 10k (SCSI-2) and the PCI Local Bus Specification Rev 2.1
• Accepts multiple commands per logical device from the system
• Configuration utilities provided through command line, smitty, smit and visual smit.
• SCSI-2 data rate of up to 20 MB per second (synchronous protocol)
• PCI Bus interface; 132 MB/sec burst rate on the PCI bus
• 4 byte (32-bit) Bus Master
