The Model 646 External Disk Drives have a formatted physical capacityof 146 GB. This increased data capacity, compared to Models 518, 536,and 573, allows you to add applications and expand the number and size ofdata files readily accessible to you. The increased capacity, theaverage (depending on operating conditions) seek time of 4.7 millisecondsread and 5.3 milliseconds write, combined with a maximum media datatransfer rate of 100.0 MB per second, make the 7204 External Disk DriveModel 646 a competitive storage solution for pSeries and RS/6000 users.
