Vintage IBM Personal Computer Model 5150 with one full height 5.25 inch floppy drive.
The computer powers on and makes a high pitched sound. After a short time, the floppy drive light comes on and the drive can be heard trying to read. I do not have the correct black and white monitor, so I could not check the display or test it any further.
Inside the computer are:
- IBM 5150 motherboard
- One full height 5.25 inch floppy drive
- Black and white graphics monitor card
- Floppy drive controller card
- One additional expansion card
- Original IBM power supply
No disk was used, so the floppy drive has not been confirmed to read or boot. The computer is being sold as untested for parts, repair, or restoration.
The second drive bay is empty. The case has scratches, scuffs, marks, and normal wear from age. Please review the photographs carefully for the condition and installed parts.
The sale includes only the IBM 5150 computer shown. No monitor, keyboard, disks, software, power cord, or other accessories are included.
