The HP SSL1016 StorageWorks Ultrium LTO/SDLT L/R Side Magazine Motor 74-60538-01 is an electric motor designed to sit on a Black Plastic retainer mounted on the same Base Plate as the magazine latch. This motor is silver colored metal with a brass gear that engages and rotates the magazine belt and eight LTO-2 or sDLT Data Tapes. The motor has a 1-5/8" H x 1-58" W x 1-1/2" D form factor and is compatible with various autoloader OEMs including HP, Quantum, Tandberg Data, and others. Two of these motors are used in each hp StorageWorks SSL1016 autoloaders.
