Here are some details I noted: Item is in fair cosmetic shape externally. There are lots of scuffs, scratches, I see one hairline crack about 1" it may be a scratch, not sure. Please look closely at pics as there's various signs of wear. The screen looks very good though (no scratches or dead pixels from what I can tell). The keyboard does not look abused either. Lid closes / latches well. Item just looks well used, but not abused. The battery does not hold charge. I'm including for completeness. If you'd like to save a few bucks, I can remove it before shipping (it adds substantial weight). Just let me know. If you don't reach out, it will ship w/ it. Another aftermarket battery can be bought on or elsewhere.

The track-pad is wore but works fine during my testing.

I used and anti static brush & blew out the fans (while holding in place to avoid over spinning).

I installed a fresh version of XP SP3 (Service Pack 3) Integral Edition (No Windows lockout no activation needed) Also contains the latest security/patches (from 2019 I think?). The CD is included if you ever need to reinstall too. I also installed drivers for the Nvidia GeForce FX Go 5200 card, and others. Please note the Network cards are deactivated. This is a best practice for something this old. You can install drivers if you want, but I'd strongly suggest NOT going online w/ something this old. Use a modern machine and a USB stick/thumbdrive.
