The FMC-1000MS-MM is a Gigabit Ethernet to multimode fiber media converter using 850nm 1000Base-SX transceiver, LC connector and supporting web interface management. Unit has an SFP(Small Form Pluggable) slot occupied by an 850nm multimode SFP transceiver module, Ethernet 1000Base-SX compatible. The Copper interface is an auto negotiating 10/100/1000 Base-TX RJ45 interface with auto MDI/MDI-X detection.Unit has its own IP address allowing direct web management on unit, even on the standalone format (no bigger chassis required). FMC-1000MS-MM can allow diagnostics on the SFP module and several features including bandwidth management.TheFMC series media converters can be installed in the new FMC series chassis and can be managed through their own web based interface. Standalone FMC-1000MS-MM converter is powered by an external switching power supply adapter, input 90-260AC, output 12V DC, 1A, included in the box. Plug for AC line is US type, NEMA1-15(2 blades only). For professional 48V DC power requirements an FMC-CH08-DC rack 19" chassis solution is available.
