Gateway LT4004u “River Black” (ZE7 series). Intel Atom N2600 1.6GHz, 10.1” LED 1024x600, 1GB DDR3, 250GB HDD, Windows 7 Starter. MFG 02/18/2012. P/N LU.WZM0D.001.

SOLD FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. DOES NOT POWER ON.

No response when the power button is pressed: no LEDs, no fan, no display. A faint coil whine can be heard from the chassis with the AC adapter connected, so power reaches the board, but the system will not POST.

Tested:

• Original Delta AC adapter (included) and a second universal adapter. No change.

• Battery removed, AC only. No change.

• Power drain (battery out, AC out, power button held 60 sec). No change.

• Multiple outlets, plug seating verified.

Case has not been opened, so the RAM has not been reseated and the internals have not been inspected. Likely a motherboard fault.

Condition: Cosmetically excellent. Factory protective film is still on the display bezel, though the film is lifting and slightly soiled at the edges (see photos). No scratches, dents, or wear on the chassis. Keyboard and screen intact. Keyboard is an international layout (Alt Gr, 5€).

Included: Netbook, original 6-cell AL10B31 battery (untested), original Delta AC adapter with US plug head and factory cable tie, original retail box with internal packaging, Quick Start Guide, plug installation sheet, Acer warranty sheet, Norton insert.

A yellow sticker reading “Crash 2233” was on the palm rest when I got it. I don’t know whether it is a password, a service note, or something else. Left in place. Visible in photos.

Windows 7 COA sticker is present on the underside. The key is intentionally obscured in photos.

Sold as-is. No returns.
