Singlemode Duplex B/I-Singlemodeis typically used in long-haul network connections spread out over extended areas--longer than a few miles. For example, telcos use it for connections between switching offices.Singlemodecable features a 9-micron glass core.Duplexcable consists of two fibers, usually in a zipcord (side-by-side) style. B/I- Bi-directional means the signals are sent back and forth along the same fiber cord.
OFNR-Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser-This is a cable consisting of glass fiber with no copper Conductiveelements. It is generally used for vertical runs between floors as part of a fiber backbone. This type of cable complieswith Underwriters Laboratories(UL) fire safety test Riser/1666.
SC/APC Connectors-SCis a type offiber optic connectorwith snap (push-pull coupling) coupling type and a 2.5 mm diameter ferrule, which is popularly used in single mode duplex system for its high performance and accurate alignment. APC stands for Angled Polished Connector.This angle prevents back-reflections which will seriously degrade the performance of any analog fiber optic system, such as CATV and Satellite. Sc/apc connectors are green incolor with white jacketed boots.
LC/UPC Connectors-Our maleLC UPC connectorshave 2.5mm pre-polished zirconia ceramic ferrules, which makes them able to provide superior performance. They also feature push/pull coupling mechanism that provides fast and reliable connections.
