CAUTION: This cable ONLY WORKS FOR R710 WITH 8-bay 2.5" BACKPLANE and H200 or H700 controllers in the integrated slot. IT DOES NOT WORK for 6-bay 3.5" backplane.Do you have a Dell PowerEdge R710 8-bay 2.5" backplane server that came with a PERC 6I SAS controller? But, now you want to upgrade to a 6Gbps SAS controller like the H200 or H700 and you need different SAS cables? This SAS cable set has 2 Dell factory cable P/N R145M and designed specifically for connecting to the H200 or H700 in the R710/SFF server! This cable set has the correct SFF8087 right angle connector for the backplane and has upward right angle SFF8087 connectors for the H700 / H200 side as shown in photos.
