Digital DEC StorageWorks DS-BA356-RC SCSI storage enclosure with seven 9.1GB hard drive modules. SOLD AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR.
IMPORTANT: The plastic is in very poor condition and is extremely brittle. There are numerous cracks, broken sections, and missing pieces around the housing and module fronts, including damage around the power supply faceplate. Please examine the photos carefully. The fragile plastic may continue to crack or crumble when handled.
The unit powers on and makes operating noise. Indicator lights illuminate, with light activity moving from one drive module to another. These observations do not confirm that the drives or enclosure function correctly.
Testing was limited to power-on observation. Drive detection, read/write operation, and SCSI communication have not been tested. The condition of each hard drive is unknown.
