For sale is a rare Commodore VIC-1001. This rare Japan-only release, pre-dating the VIC-20 doesn't need very much of an introduction if you're looking at this.
This VIC-1001 has been completely checked out and is clean inside and out. All chips test good. Keyboard tests good. The RAM banks have been entirelyand professionally replaced with new old 2114 stock (on removable sockets, no less), as the2114 RAM goes frequently bad on these. Although not pictured, includes 5-pin DIN to RCA adapter cable for both audio and video (composite) output. The VIC-1001 comes ready to be used.
Comes complete with original packaging, the actual VIC-1001 unit, original power supply, RF modulator, and5-pin DIN to RCA adapter cable.
